Known for her compassionate, caring, and attentive nature, Dr. Pooja Patel is a practising obstetrician and gynaecologist in the city of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Dr. Patel completed her gynaecology degree in 2015 from NHL Municipal Medical College. In addition to her skills, she has completed her fellowship in ultrasound (sonography) in obstetrics and gynaecology. She has undergone various other training in laparoscopy and sonography recognised by FOGSI.
Having a core interest in pregnancy care and delivery, she has performed over 5000 normal deliveries and more than 3000 caesarean sections (C-sections), which includes several high-risk pregnancies, in the last 9 years. Apart from obstetrics, she has expertise in sonography of pregnant females, core studies of different trimesters, and sonography of the ovaries in patients with infertility. She has also gathered experience in the management of various gynaecological diseases, adolescent issues, menopausal problems, female infertility, IUI, IVF, etc. She is a member of the Ahmedabad Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society (AOGS), the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society of India (FOGSI), the Ahmedabad Medical Association (AMA), and the Indian Medical Association (IMA).

If you are covered under any of the listed insurance companies for medical services, Diva Hospitals, Ahmedabad will assist you in getting your claim processed by your TPA. In the event of a cashless authorization request being rejected by TPA, the patient will be required to settle the hospital bill and to claim the expenses subsequently from the insurance company / TPA. Also note that the discharge medicines and certain exclusions may not be covered by insurance companies.
